Hometown: Beckley, WV

Education: Lora graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She received her B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Marshall University, she received her BSN from Mountain State University, and her MSN Family from Wheeling Jesuit University.

Years at New River Health: Lora has been with New River Health since May of 2021.

Special Patient Population Interest: Lora sees patients at our Oak Hill High School school health location. She is also able to perform DOT physicals and provide adult health.

Why do you love working at New River Health? “I love working in school-based health and giving older children a sense of responsibility for their health. I love the sense of community and family that New River provides.”

Hobbies/Activities: “Church activities, activity involvement with children, exercising, and being outdoors.”

Other Facts: “I am married to Rick, and have 2 daughters, a cat, and a dog. I have been an FNP for 10 years and have worked in healthcare in Fayette County since 1999.”
