Why do you love working at New River Health? Dr. Pugh has office in Fayette, Raleigh, Greenbrier, Kanawha and Nicholas counties. When given the opportunity for him to help start the vision department with New River Health, he gladly accepted. During the renovation of the old Kmart building, Dr. Pugh gave insight into the design,. as well as the state-of-the-art equipment needed to provide eye care at the new location. He is able to see patients at this location by appointment only.

Hobbies/Activities: Spending time with his wife and two kids, playing golf, traveling, and going to car shows.

Other Facts: During his Optometry school graduation, Dr. Pugh was awarded the “Outstanding student Doctor” award as well as the Vistakon certificate of contact lens care, which is given to only one student of each graduating class.
