Fees and Payment

New River Health Association (NRHA) accepts private insurance, private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP and Tricare. If you are with a managed health plan please check with us to be sure we participate with your plan. If you are uninsured, underinsured or out of work we will work with you to arrange a method of payment for services on a sliding scale according to income.

Cost should not prevent you from receiving care. New River Health Association (NRHA) also provides free and reduced cost services through public health programs including Black Lung clinic, children's health services, breast and cervical cancer screening services.

When you come for your appointment, bring your insurance card (private, Medicaid, Medicare, etc.) and be prepared to pay co-payments for services not covered by your insurance.
